How long does a photo session last?

  • It varies according to how many shots and people involved.

  • Usually between 1 hour - 2 hours. For children under 6, short and sweet is best, while newborns need 2 hrs.

How long does it take to produce my photos?

  • Images are available to view approximately 2-3 days after your shoot.

  • Print orders take approximately 2-3 weeks, depending on size and complexity.

  • Orders can be expressed for urgent deadlines and delivery can be arranged

  • Framing usually takes 1-2 weeks.

How do I Book a Session?

  • Call or email to arrange a time for your shoot and discuss your ideas.  A $50 deposit is required to confirm your session. We always choose a time that suits your child's routine.   

  • Payment methods: Cash, Cheque, Direct Debit, Visa and Mastercard. Payment plans offered.

What stage should I get my pregnancy photos done?

  • Usually from 32-36 weeks, when the shape is well rounded, and before it's too late, as many women feel tired and carry fluid in the last 2 weeks.

  • We aim for 3 or 4 different looks with your partner and siblings welcome.

When is the best stage to photograph my baby?

  • Any time is better than not at all, but some special stages to catch are:

    • up to 6 weeks Newborn: 7-10 days is ideal for sleepy curled up poses

    • lifts head, smiles, plays with toes 3-5 months: Young baby stage

    • sitting, crawling, smiley, expressive 6-9 months: Bouncing baby stage

  • Older baby: 10-12 months - standing, early steps, showing teeth, inquisitive

What happens if I need to postpone?

If the weather is bad or children are ill, we will reschedule. 24 hours notice is appreciated.
